Integrity President to Support Community on DC Trip

No, Harlan has not been appointed to the U.S. Senate and his trip is not being directed by Frank Capra, instead it is being organized by the Economic Development Council of the Bloomington Normal Area (EDC). Harlan, along with 35 other members of the community, will be flying to Washington D.C. on March 1, 2008 to solicit federal support for four projects in McLean County.

These members are part of One Voice, a powerful, pro-community campaign spearheaded by the EDC. The goals of this campaign are straightforward: to make McLean County a stronger economic force and a better place to live.

The four projects that they will be soliciting funds for are:

• Multi-Modal Transportation Center

• Regional Creativity Center for the Arts

• McLean County Incubator

• City of Lexington Wastewater Treatment System

Information about these projects and the trip to Washington D.C. can be found at www.1community1voice.org.
