Integrity Technology Solutions was established in 1993 by cofounder Harlan Geiser. He built the company on the core values of integrity, relationships, community, improvement and fun. Harlan believed in establishing a company of business-minded IT professionals who would serve Integrity’s clients with excellence. He sought employees who could understand and positively impact Integrity’s business.
Over the course of 20 years, Harlan’s leadership and vision resulted in the business growing from a small, privately owned start-up IT company to a multi-million dollar organization with 38 employees in 2013. During that time, Integrity served as more than just an IT department for businesses: It became a trusted partner for businesses and organizations throughout Illinois.
Today the company actively practices open-book management—sharing all financial information with its employees, encouraging them to think and act like owners of the business. All team members participate in financial literacy training and weekly financial forecasting. This active involvement in Integrity’s financial performance develops an entrepreneurial spirit in employees. They understand how their individual work and decisions impact Integrity’s business operations, clients and financial results.
In addition to serving clients, the entire Integrity team is committed to the company’s value of “community.” Employees contribute their time and talents in service to others and the company supports the community through regular financial giving including this investment in Illinois State University.
In celebration of Integrity’s 20th anniversary in 2013 and in honor of cofounder Harlan Geiser, the company established the Integrity Technology Solutions Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded annually to a School of Information Technology student. The scholarship is designed to assist students who are interested in the IT field, demonstrate academic excellence and financial need, and who share Integrity’s entrepreneurial spirit and value of community by being actively engaged in community service.
